Our Story:
We met several years ago as the respective Vancouver and Ottawa writers for a national media company. We started talking about our writing and what resulted was an ongoing correspondence about the tips, tricks, dreams and aspirations of our writing projects and careers. Our email exchange blossomed into Two Writers Talking, a blog that serves as both an outlet on days of overflowing inspiration and a motivator on days when inspiration eludes us.
Our Promise:
As professional journalists and responsible bloggers, we adhere to the ethical guidelines posted online at Cyberjournalist.
What We Talk About:
Two Writers Talking is the virtual coffee table around which we reflect on what we have learned, and are learning, from walking the writer’s path. On our homepage blog, we share our thoughts on the creative craft, the industry, what inspires us and what challenges us. Be sure to watch for our weekly Sunday Specials, where we converse on a particular topic and invite you to join the dialogue. And we encourage you to visit The Workshop. That’s where you’ll find prompts and exercises to get your creative juices flowing, and get a peek at the writing projects currently engaging us.
As you work toward your own writing goals, we hope we can provide some company along the way. Thanks for looking in.
