Peggy Trendell-Jensen
I am a Jill-of-all-trades when it comes to writing, happily engaged by many of the varied genres that comprise our rich literary world. Much of my background is in writing columns and articles for newspapers and magazines, and I find a natural voice in personal essays and creative non-fiction.
In the past number of years, I’ve returned to fiction and have also found a new love in learning about, teaching and practicing memoir writing. I’ve been published by presses both large and small, know the thrill of acceptance and the sting of rejection letters, written for national media and community papers, put out a book with Whitecap Publishers, and organized literary groups to self-publish their story anthologies. I also enjoy working with other people’s words, and offer editing and critiquing services to businesses and other writers.
Much of my time is currently spent leading ongoing writing workshops for adults and children, or offering individual coaching. For more information, please see my website at liveandlearn.ca, or check out my Young Writers’ Club if you know of a creative kid who loves to write!
